Plywood shortage could have many seeking alternative for protection during hurricane season

FORT MYERS, Fla.– For many of us, it’s either plywood or storm shutters to keep windows safe from a storm.  Plywood is traditionally the cheaper of the two options but that isn’t the case this year. Kings Highway construction could cause delays in Charlotte County through June 23

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — Motorists in Charlotte County might notice some delays until June 23. Construction is happening in the southbound Kings Highway from Midway Boulevard to Olean Boulevard every day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Warning signs for the construction will be posted, so plan ahead if you’re traveling through the area.
