CAPE CORAL, Fla. – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car in the parking lot of a Cape Coral grocery store on Friday. Cape Coral Police Department crash investigators said the 73-year-old driver of the car suffered a cardiac episode during the crash in the ALDI parking lot, 1481 SW Pine Island Road. The driver was parked in the south end of the parking lot while the 85-year-old pedestrian was walking in that same area.
