Help rename LCSO’s adorable new member of the animal cruelty task force
LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Deputy Chance has a sister!
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office introduced its newest and most adorable member of the animal cruelty task force on Monday during a Facebook Live.
Formerly named Sky, the dog was rescued and rehabilitated at the Gulf Coast Humane Society and then taken in by LCSO.
Because of the conditions that the dog was living in, she had to have one of her legs amputated.
Now, the sheriff’s office is asking the community for help in renaming her. Throughout the week, LCSO will be posting on their social media pages asking for name suggestions for the sweet pup. On Friday, they will announce the top 3 names picked and on May 27, Sheriff Carmine Marceno will announce the name that has been chosen.
