Hungry? St. Matthew’s House is giving away food in SWFL today
COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — St. Matthew’s House is helping feed the community today, June 3.
The organization is fresh off of a record breaking month of food distributions and hopes to feed even more families in June.
In May, SMH fed 20,000 families — so they’ve got quite the challenge.
If you are hungry and need help putting food on the table, there are four food distribution sites across Southwest Florida on Thursday:
Thursday, June 3: First Baptist Church Naples, 3000 Orange Blossom Dr. Naples, 34109 10:00-12:00 PM
Thursday, June 3: Iglesia Pueblo de Dios, 4400 Tamiami Trail E. Naples, 34112, 10:00-12:00 PM
Thursday, June 3: First Haitian Baptist Church, 14600 Tamiami Trail E. Naples, 34114, 1:00-3:00 PM
Thursday, June 3: Mount Olive AME Church, 2754 Orange Street, Fort Myers, 33916, 2:00-6:00 PM
St. Matthew’s house started the food distribution sites at the beginning of the pandemic, and every week the volunteers are seeing the numbers grow.
