Man caught on camera peering through & knocking on window of Lehigh Acres home

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – A knock on a window late at night surprised the couple living in a Lehigh Acres home.

After seeing the images from a surveillance camera, the couple is looking for answers. Andrea Simpson said she thought her boyfriend was playing a prank on her when she heard someone banging on her window. She soon discovered it was no laughing matter.

“I thought it was my boyfriend playing a joke on me but when I called him he said he was still at work,” said Simpson. “I heard bang bang bang again then I started freaking out.”

After looking at surveillance photos, she saw this unidentified man, who had been staring at her while she was getting dressed. Now, the couple just wants answers.

“Even going to Walmart I was looking around like it can be anybody right now, and I felt nervous even with people looking at me because I didn’t know who could have seen me undress you know,” said Simpson.

“It makes me mad because my girlfriend doesn’t feel safe and I get home late at night so the first thing that came through my mind is what if he’s waiting here when I come home and seeing the picture it’s a big guy,” said boyfriend Brandon Farris.

The couple is now planning to file a report with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
