Naples man acquitted on kidnapping and sexual abuse charges
NAPLES, Fla.– A Naples man was acquitted by a federal jury on kidnapping and abusive sexual contact, on Monday.
Cody Donavan Smith was originally indicted in March of 2020 by a federal grand jury, according to officials. The initial trial lasted for four days.
United States Attorney Bob Murray announced Smith’s acquittal.
