One dead after work accident in Collier County

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – One person is dead after a mower fell on top of a person in the 700 block of Logan Boulevard North in Collier County.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accidental death that was reported around 2:37 p.m. Saturday.

The mower fell on the person while they were changing the lade, according to Collier County deputies.

Witnesses said the house was taped off as deputies investigated the incident. This was a work-related death, according to witnesses.
