One injured in shooting near Englewood restaurant

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — One person was injured in a shooting at 2045 N. Beach Road on Saturday night, officials said.

Deputies with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting near the Lock ‘N Key Restaurant in Englewood.

One person was injured in the shooting and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, deputies said. The other person involved in the shooting waited on the scene for law enforcement to arrive.

CCSO deputies are investigating the shooting.
