One injured in shooting on Summerlin Road

FORT MYERS, Fla. — One person was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital after a shooting in Fort Myers, officials said.

Officers with the Fort Myers Police Department are investigating the shooting at 5344 Summerlin Road.

People should avoid the area as investigators work the scene.
