One person taken to hospital after Charlotte County crash

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla.– One person was transported to the hospital following a crash on Friday afternoon.

The wreck happened near a Goodwill on US 41 between Midway and Ellery Street.

Charlotte County fire and EMS crews responded to the scene. One person involved was transported to the hospital for treatment according to officials.

The southbound lanes were congested while crews responded.
