LEE COUNTY, Fla. – There is a new tool being used to kill algal blooms on the Caloosahatchee River. The South Florida Water Management District is now testing Lake Guard Oxy on the river. Lee Commissioners approve Caloosahatchee water quality research project

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – The Lee Board of County Commissioners approved an agreement with Florida Gulf Coast University on Tuesday for a water quality research project at the Boma site in Glades County. LEE COUNTY, Fla. – People are finding algae in the Caloosahatchee River near Fort Myers Shores and Alva. The Lee County Health Department sent warnings about the potentially toxic water this week.
