CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Many people leave their vehicles running and unattended, which can lead to it being burglarized and even stolen, officials said. Although this seems like common sense to some people, others will often leave their cars unlocked, with a door open, or leave the windows down, officers with the Cape Coral Police Department said. As more vehicles are stolen, insurance rates will increase for everyone, officers said.
