TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida Department of Health will no longer release daily COVID-19 data. State officials said Florida is transitioning into the next phase of the COVID-19 response. As more people get vaccinated and new case positivity rate decreases, FDOH has moved to a weekly reporting schedule for key COVID-19 data. Orlando International Airport welcomes first transatlantic flight since pandemic

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP)– Florida’s busiest airport has started offering transatlantic flights again for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic. A flight from Frankfurt, Germany was set to land at the Orlando International Airport on Wednesday evening. Moderna asking for full FDA approval of its COVID vaccine

WASHINGTON / CNBC — Moderna officials asked the Food and Drug Administration to fully approve it’s coronavirus vaccine on Tuesday, making it the second drugmaker in the U.S. to do so. Attention shoppers: Costco is bringing back free samples

CNN – Nothing enforces a return to normalcy like free samples. Costco is set to begin “a phased return to full sampling” early next month after a 14-month hiatus, the warehouse chain announced. Dogs might be able to sniff out COVID-19 infections, early research suggests

CNN – Dogs might be able to lend a helping paw in the fight against COVID-19, according to a new study published on Sunday. Scientist with the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, Durham University and the group Medical Detection Dogs finished Phase 1 of a trial examining if dogs can smell and identify a COVID-19 infection under controlled conditions.
