LaBelle City Hall closes after staff member tests positive for COVID-19

LABELLE, Fla. – LaBelle City Hall closed Thursday after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19. City Hall closed out of an abundance of caution at around 12 p.m., LaBelle’s City FInance Director Ron Zimmerly confirmed. The city said they will open back up on Monday, May 24. Hundreds of shallow graves found along Indian riverbanks

PRAYAGRAJ, India / NBC News — Police are investigating hundreds of bodies that were either buried in shallow sand graves or have washed up on the Ganges River banks, with some speculating on social media that they are remains of COVID-19 victims. Diocese of Venice in Florida will no longer require masks at Mass

SOUTHWEST, Fla.– The Diocese of Venice in Florida announced a change to it’s mask policy on Friday. Masks and social distancing are no longer mandatory during mass. They are also not required at Parish activities or gatherings. “Masks remain encouraged and certainly permitted, particularly for those who are not yet vaccinated,” said Bishop Frank J.
