Domino’s driver shoots at brazen teen robber in Pine Manor

LEE COUNTY, Fla – A robbery suspect picked the wrong delivery driver to target Wednesday night. Lee County deputies say 16-year old Hayden Celin tried robbing the Domino’s driver in a failed setup. The driver tried delivering a pizza to a home in Pine Manor, but the family inside said they never placed an order. Two seriously injured in Naples crash on Pine Ridge Road

NAPLES, Fla. – Two people were seriously injured in a crash on Pine Ridge Road near I-75 in Naples Thursday evening. Florida Highway Patrol troopers said four cars were involved in the crash. The westbound inside lane is blocked, according to troopers on scene. Witnesses said two people were flown to the hospital after the crash. FHP said the crash is still under investigation. Skateboarder causes $3,500 in damages at Charlotte County Catholic school

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – A skateboarder caused over $3,500 in damages at a Charlotte County Catholic school. Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office deputies are trying to identify the skateboarder. Florida family finds 9-foot gator outside their home

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A Florida family found a 9-foot gator near their sliding glass doors on Tuesday! The family in Plant City woke up around 2:45 a.m. to a knock on the sliding glass doors, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Registration opens for 2021 Florida Python Challenge

MIAMI, Fla. – Registration for the 2021 Florida Python Challenge has opened, Governor Ron DeSantis announced. This year’s Florida Python Challenge will be held July 9-18. Registration is now open and the public can take the online training and then compete to remove invasive Burmese pythons, the governor said. Burmese pythons are not native to Florida and negatively impact native species. Animal Control in LaBelle reduces services until next week

LABELLE, Fla. – Animal Control in LaBelle is reducing their services until next week and said residents should not bring animals their way. The facility located off of Rodeo Drive in LaBelle. City officials said they’re restricting services due to shortages on staff. Shelter operators said one employee recently underwent back surgery while the other is on vacation. Estero looks to crack down on panhandling with new pedestrian safety ordinance

ESTERO, Fla. – The Village of Estero is looking to join Lee County and Bonita Springs in passing a pedestrian safety ordinance that would crack down on panhandling. The ordinance would be nearly identical to ones passed in Lee County and Bonita Springs. It would ban people from lingering in medians and crosswalks. LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District has set aside free smoke alarms in an effort to help out its senior citizens.
