CAPE CORAL, Fla. – Officers are searching for a man who attacked a woman and two girls in a Cape Coral road rage incident. The Cape Coral Police Department said the man beat up the three females and tried pulling them from their car after stopping in a parking lot. The road rage incident happened near the 1100 block of Del Prado Boulevard South. Two of the victims in the other car have minor injuries after the incident, according to Cape Coral police. Two kids break into Florida home, open fire on deputies

ENTERPRISE, Fla. – A teen girl and a 12-year-old boy are accused of running away from a group home in Florida Tuesday night, breaking into someone’s home and shooting at deputies. Travis O’Brien, 12, and Nicole Jackson, 14, are expected to face charges after they were reported missing just before 5 p.m. from Florida United Methodist Children’s Home in Enterprise, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office. Cape Coral financial advisor sentenced for over $1 million fraud

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – A former financial advisor in Cape Coral was sentenced to five years in prison for defrauding clients. David Rockwell, 45, was sentenced to five years in federal prison for wire and bank fraud, according to the Department of Justice. The court also entered a money judgment of $1,018,000, the proceeds of his wire and bank fraud. Rockwell pleaded guilty on Jan. 14. Rockwell managed investment and retirement accounts for his clients, according to court documents. Car thief speeding down McGregor Blvd flips stolen vehicle in overnight crash

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The driver in a stolen Infiniti Q4 left the scene of a crash he caused early Wednesday morning, officials said. Officers with the Fort Myers Police Department said that the driver was speeding eastbound from McGregor Boulevard to Colonial Boulevard and hit a curb, took out some trees, and landed in the westbound lanes of Colonial Boulevard. MIAMI (AP) — Thinking his home was under attack, a Florida homeowner shot and wounded a 10-year-old whose father had driven him to participate in a drive-by shooting with a paintball gun, police said. Estero man sentenced to seven years for child porn

ESTERO, Fla. – A 28-year-old Estero man was sentenced to seven years in federal prison Tuesday after pleading guilty to child porn charges in 2019. Kyle O’Brien was also sentenced to a lifetime of supervised release after the FBI, joined by other agencies, swarmed a unit at the Coastal Village Apartments in Estero to serve a search warrant in April 2019, according to court documents. CNN – A former pilot for Southwest Airlines was sentenced to one year of probation last week after pleading guilty to a lewd, indecent, or obscene act during a flight he was piloting last summer, according to a news release from the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland. Man killed in early morning Fort Myers shooting

FORT MYERS, Fla. — A man was shot and killed inside a car off of Royal Palm Avenue in Fort Myers just after midnight on Tuesday, officials said. Shot spotters in the area detected a gunshot in the area of Franklin Street and Central Avenue, police with the Fort Myers Police Department said. Officers are investigating at 2475 Central Avenue. Deputies investigate shooting on Fort Myers Beach

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. – A large fight on Fort Myers Beach led to one shot being fired Monday afternoon, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
