CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – A 53-year old man died after a construction accident Friday morning off of Boca Grande Causeway in Charlotte County. The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office confirmed they were conducting a death investigation after the incident around 9:25 a.m. at Eldred’s Marina, 6301 Boca Grande Causeway. Body of missing teen found in Miami, police suspect foul play

MIAMI, Fla. [NBC6] – Police are investigating a death after the body of a missing 16-year-old girl was found on Sunday evening. Family members identified the teen as Dayana Gomez Sanchez. City of Miami police officers were dispatched at around 5:20 p.m. to the 1200 block of Northeast 79th Street, near Pelican Harbor Marina, where they found the body. Sanchez was last seen on Saturday leaving her home to go for a run around 6 p.m., according to police. She was reported missing around 8:30 p.m. Police said they believe her death is suspicious, but they are waiting for the autopsy results....

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – One person is dead after a mower fell on top of a person in the 700 block of Logan Boulevard North in Collier County. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accidental death that was reported around 2:37 p.m. Saturday. The mower fell on the person while they were changing the lade, according to Collier County deputies. Witnesses said the house was taped off as deputies investigated the incident.
