TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The coronavirus vaccine eligibility age will change once again on Monday, April, 5 Governor Ron DeSantis said.
On Monday, anyone age 18 and over will be able to get a COVID-19 vaccine after the age was lowered to 40 and over just one week before.
The Pfizer vaccine is the only vaccine currently authorized for individuals under the age of 18. The state is continuing to follow all FDA issued Emergency Use Authorizations guidance when administering the COVID-19 vaccine.
