SANIBEL, Fla. – A young opossum received a tiny eye patch after it underwent surgery in Sanibel following a cat attack.
The ‘Virginia opossum’ also known as the North American opossum was admitted to the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) weeks ago after the animal’s left eye was severely damaged in a cat attack, according to CROW.
