Body of missing teen found in Miami, police suspect foul play

MIAMI, Fla. [NBC6] – Police are investigating a death after the body of a missing 16-year-old girl was found on Sunday evening. Family members identified the teen as Dayana Gomez Sanchez. City of Miami police officers were dispatched at around 5:20 p.m. to the 1200 block of Northeast 79th Street, near Pelican Harbor Marina, where they found the body. Sanchez was last seen on Saturday leaving her home to go for a run around 6 p.m., according to police. She was reported missing around 8:30 p.m. Police said they believe her death is suspicious, but they are waiting for the autopsy results....

Sunshine State showdown: Lightning take on Panthers in first round of playoffs

SUNSHINE, Fla. / AP — The defending Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning will take on the Florida Panthers for the first time in the postseason on Sunday night. Florida was second in the Central Division, Tampa Bay was third. The Panthers went 5-2-1 against the Lightning in the regular season, though that seems irrelevant given that Tampa Bay’s lineup will be considerably different in this series. Masks are no longer mandatory outside at Disney parks

Masks will still be required inside, on transportation and on attractions. Social distancing will still be practiced at Disney World. Universal guests no longer required to wear masks outside

ORLANDO, Fla.– Universal released an update to their mask police on Friday. Guests are no longer required to wear a face mask while outside, according to the company’s website. Facial coverings are still required indoors, while on rides and in lines for attractions. Social distancing should still be observed. Universal’s decision follows a CDC announcement about relaxing mask guidelines for those who are vaccinated.
