CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – COVID-19 created a massive food crisis for families in Southwest Florida. Thousands still rely on weekly food drives to get a meal on the table.
Now, a Charlotte County restaurant is using its pizza to help out.
It started because children who benefited from free lunch at school weren’t in school because of COVID-19. Now Uncle Nick’s is helping feed the hungry — regardless of age — one pizza at a time.
