Florida’s Memorial Day gas prices were lower than 2018 holiday levels

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Gas prices in Florida on Memorial Day averages $2.86 per gallon. Although the state average was higher than the last two years, it was 5 cents less than what drivers paid in Florida during the 2018 holiday weekend. Gas prices in the Sunshine State have been on the decline over the last two weeks, dropping nearly 3 cents.
