COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A fire destroyed a home in Golden Gate Estates and the family needs the community’s help to recover. The family lost everything when the raging flames engulfed their home on 6th Avenue Southeast around 11 p.m. on Friday. COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – A fire fully engulfed a Golden Gate Estates home on 6th Avenue South late Friday evening. North Collier and Greater Naples Fire crews responded to the home fire. Witnesses on scene said two people made it out of the home uninjured. A dog died and another one was rescued by firefighters, according to witnesses. COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – A 3 acre brush fire sparked on 24th Avenue near DeSoto Boulevard in Golden Gate Estates on Thursday.
