Plane crashes near Alligator Alley in Collier County

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A plane went down near Interstate 75 in Collier County, officials said. Two people were on board the single-engine plane that crashed two miles south of I-75 near mile marker 55, according to Greater Naples Fire Rescue officials. WATCH LIVE: Rescue crews with the Greater Naples Fire Rescue, Collier County Sheriff’s Office and Collier County EMS responded to the crash. Naples firefighter receive ‘thank you’ notes from residents

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.– Collier firefighters have been busy protecting their community, over the last week. A massive brush fire tore through Golden Gate estates, reaching 1,500 acres at it’s peak. Two homes were destroyed in the blaze and two more were damaged. Members of the community have sent officials ‘thank you’ notes to express their gratitude for their service. Greater Naples Fire joined in the appreciation, posting on social media, “our hearts are full of gratitude for all the agencies who have helped save life and property from the 14th Ave fire!”...
