VIDEO: Police chase 17-year-old hit and run suspect through the woods
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Just minutes after a 6:30 a.m. crash in Daytona Beach on Wednesday, a teen got out of his car and took off down the road on foot, leaving the other driver at the scene, police said. The Daytona Beach Police Department Aviation Unit quickly launched two drones, as ground units and K9s went in search of the hit and run suspect. The drones were able to located 17-year-old Trenton Hunt, who was running through a parking lot on Mason Avenue, police said. Pilots directed the ground units to Hunt’s location where a foot chase ensued. WATCH:
