Motorcyclist caught on camera riding hands-free on I-75

NAPLES, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol is warning people to drive safe and not distracted after a man was caught on camera riding a motorcycle north on I-75 from Naples without holding on to the handlebars.  Troopers said the video, which was filmed by a person in another vehicle also driving on I-75 also caused concern. I-75 crash in Lee County leaves two injured

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A crash on I-75 near Corkscrew Road in Lee County left two injured, Florida Highway Patrol troopers confirmed. A pickup truck driver and a woman in the truck had minor injuries after the crash. Troopers said the pickup truck was in an adjacent lane to another car driving south on I-75 in the area. The driver of the other car involved in the crash tried to change lanes and didn’t see the pickup truck driving in the center lane, according to FHP. Man in custody after Collier County I-75 rollover crash

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — At least one person was injured in a crash on Interstate 75 in Collier County on Thursday night, officials said. Deputies with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office and rescue crews with the Greater Naples Fire Rescue responded to the crash near mile marker 107 on southbound I-75 just after 11 p.m. The driver ran from the crash scene and was later found at a Chase Bank in the Crossroads Market Plaza not too far from the crash.
