Lehigh Acres gator trapper wrangles gators two days in a row

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.– A gator made itself at home at a Lehigh Acres community on Friday.  The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission got a call after the four-foot gator made its way from under a car to the back porch of a home.  “I was actually just looking out my back porch and I seen him walking across the yard and I was like ‘Oh, that’s a gator,’” said Mackenzie Marinell. Diocese of Venice in Florida will no longer require masks at Mass

SOUTHWEST, Fla.– The Diocese of Venice in Florida announced a change to it’s mask policy on Friday. Masks and social distancing are no longer mandatory during mass. They are also not required at Parish activities or gatherings. “Masks remain encouraged and certainly permitted, particularly for those who are not yet vaccinated,” said Bishop Frank J. Universal guests no longer required to wear masks outside

ORLANDO, Fla.– Universal released an update to their mask police on Friday. Guests are no longer required to wear a face mask while outside, according to the company’s website. Facial coverings are still required indoors, while on rides and in lines for attractions. Social distancing should still be observed. North Collier crews respond to car fire at LaPlaya Beach Club

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.– North Collier crews responded to a car fire on Friday afternoon. Around 5:30 pm, crews arrived to a car fire at the LaPlaya Beach Club on Gulfshore Drive. Staff at the resort tried to put the fire out themselves by using two fire extinguishers. According to officials, the flames were put out quickly once fire crews arrived.
