CAPTIVA, Fla.–Beachcombers on Captiva came across large three-foot-deep holes the sand right off the beach, on Friday morning.
Locals said it’s common to see holes made by children playing in the sand but scientists warn it can create a hazard for both humans and wildlife.
Two holes were spotted near Alison Hagerup Beach Park.
