Two seriously injured in Naples crash on Pine Ridge Road

NAPLES, Fla. – Two people were seriously injured in a crash on Pine Ridge Road near I-75 in Naples Thursday evening. Florida Highway Patrol troopers said four cars were involved in the crash. The westbound inside lane is blocked, according to troopers on scene. Witnesses said two people were flown to the hospital after the crash. FHP said the crash is still under investigation. Cyclist & SUV collide in Cape Coral

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — A SUV and a bicyclist crashed on SW 3rd Street in Cape Coral Wednesday morning. NBC2 crews arrived to the scene near Nicholas Parkway and saw an SUV and bicycle at the scene of the crash. Officers with the Cape Coral Police Department are investigating the crash. Labelle man dies, two others seriously injured in Tice crash

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A 30-year-old Labelle man died in a two car crash on Buckingham Road on Tuesday evening, officials said. Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a two car crash near Park Road around 7:30 p.m. The Labelle man was driving north on Buckingham Road and a 57-year-old Fort Myers man was driving south on Buckingham Road with a 60-year-old Fort Myers woman. Car thief speeding down McGregor Blvd flips stolen vehicle in overnight crash

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The driver in a stolen Infiniti Q4 left the scene of a crash he caused early Wednesday morning, officials said. Officers with the Fort Myers Police Department said that the driver was speeding eastbound from McGregor Boulevard to Colonial Boulevard and hit a curb, took out some trees, and landed in the westbound lanes of Colonial Boulevard. Driver slams into fire hydrant, causing flooding & delays on Fort Myers Beach

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. — A car that slammed into a fire hydrant caused a major water leak on Fort Myers Beach on Memorial Day, officials said. The flooding stopped both directions of traffic near the Big Carlos Pass on Estero Boulevard for over half an hour. Some people were seen getting out of their cars while waiting on the bridge. 7 children, 4 adults rushed to the hospital after Fort Myers crash

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Seven children and four adults were injured in a crash on US 41 near Island Park Road in Fort Myers. The South Trail Fire Department confirmed everyone injured in the crash is being taken to local hospitals. Four of the children do have serious injuries, two have non-life-threatening injuries, and one has minor injuries.
