Retired Cape Coral Police Department K-9 passes away

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – A retired Cape Coral Police Department K-9 passed away after suffering from sarcoma cancer.

K-9 Arca, who was recently laid to rest, served with CCPD from 2014-2020, according to the department.

Arca was a 9 1/2 year old Dutch Shepherd and was the first female dual-purpose K-9 to serve with CCPD.
