COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Fire crews with the Greater Naples Fire Rescue District & Florida Forest Service Caloosahatchee District Field District were fighting a fire on 16th Avenue NW just west of Wilson Boulevard West on Monday evening. The fire started after a power pole fell and ignited surrounding brush. A quick response from fire crews on the ground and in the sky helped save two homes that were threatened by the flames. Flames tear through home, cause brush fire in Punta Gorda

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. — Firefighters rushed to a home that was engulfed in flames on Austrian Boulevard Wednesday night, officials said. Rescue crews were dispatched to a house fire around 10:30 p.m., a spokesperson for Charlotte County Fire & EMS said. When crews arrived, the home was fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters respond to house fire in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Rescue crews with the Iona McGregor Fire Department responded to reports of a house fire early Tuesday morning. The fire ignited around 3 a.m. inside a home on Duera Mae Drive in Harlem Heights. Three people were inside the home when the fire broke out and they made it outside safely.
