Naples crews respond to boat fire in marina

NAPLES, Fla.— Crews responded to a boat fire at The Power Squadron Marina on Monday evening. Naples Fire-Rescue contained the blaze to one vessel and put out the flames. The boat was tied to the dock, close to several others in the area. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Naples firefighter receive ‘thank you’ notes from residents

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.– Collier firefighters have been busy protecting their community, over the last week. A massive brush fire tore through Golden Gate estates, reaching 1,500 acres at it’s peak. Two homes were destroyed in the blaze and two more were damaged. Members of the community have sent officials ‘thank you’ notes to express their gratitude for their service. Greater Naples Fire joined in the appreciation, posting on social media, “our hearts are full of gratitude for all the agencies who have helped save life and property from the 14th Ave fire!”...
