One person shot in Immokalee neighborhood

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – One person was shot in an Immokalee neighborhood near 3rd Street and Eustis Avenue Saturday evening. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the person shot was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Crime scene tape is wrapped around a home located at 407 S 3rd Street. Deputies said this started as a neighbor dispute and was called in at 6:23 p.m. Collier County deputies said they don’t have a suspect in custody. This is a developing story. Three hawk nestlings released after recovering at CROW

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Three nestling red-shouldered hawks were released back into the wild after being admitting to a Sanibel wildlife hospital. The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife said two of the nestlings were found in a parking lot. Veterinarians said they were healthy babies but were underweight. CROW said it was likely their home was destroyed. In just the few short weeks the nestlings were at CROW, they grew into strong juvenile hawks! A federal judge overturned California’s longtime ban on assault weapons on Friday in a ruling that likened the AR-15 to a Swiss Army knife. Swatting call leads to deputies swarming North Naples home

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – A Swatting call led to a large response by first responders at a North Naples home on Saturday. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the incident at the home on Autumn Haze Drive was related to a swatting call. Numerous deputies swarmed the home along with fire and EMS crews. Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell facing child endangerment charges

NBC NEWS – Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell was charged in Ohio with attempted child endangerment and disseminating matter harmful to children, online court records show.
