Collier County schools to make face masks optional for students
COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – Collier County students will have the choice to wear a mask at school starting this Summer.
Collier County Public Schools will vote Tuesday to approve a resolution that starting this Summer, students will have the option to wear a face mask.
Superintendent Kamala Patton said on graduation day she is looking forward to seeing smiling faces.
“We’re excited to you know allow people to have a choice not mandate one way or the other but have a choice so we’re excited for that we just know that’s going to just make education a little bit easier,” Dr. Patton said.
