Florida Department of Health will no longer release daily COVID-19 data

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida Department of Health will no longer release daily COVID-19 data.

State officials said Florida is transitioning into the next phase of the COVID-19 response. As more people get vaccinated and new case positivity rate decreases, FDOH has moved to a weekly reporting schedule for key COVID-19 data.

More than 10.3 million Floridians have been vaccinated, which accounts for more than half of the state’s population, officials said. Eighty-five percent of Florida’s seniors have also been vaccinated.

Health officials said Florida’s case positivity has been below five percent for more than three weeks. Cases in seniors 65 and older are the lowest they have been since early on in the pandemic.
