Kings Highway construction could cause delays in Charlotte County through June 23

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — Motorists in Charlotte County might notice some delays until June 23.

Construction is happening in the southbound Kings Highway from Midway Boulevard to Olean Boulevard every day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Warning signs for the construction will be posted, so plan ahead if you’re traveling through the area.

The work being done will improve manholes in linear ponds. The road closure is necessary and will give the contractor safe access to the area.
