KEY WEST, Fla. – The Coast Guard is searching for 10 people that went missing after a boat overturned near Key West. The Coast Guard confirmed two people are also dead after the crash happened 18 miles southwest of Key West. Units rescued eight people and recovered two bodies from the water at about 1 p.m. Thursday. No other information was immediately available. This is a developing story. Antisemitic message found painted on the Florida Holocaust Museum

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. [WFLA] – A swastika and an antisemitic message were found painted on the side of the Florida Holocaust Museum, detectives said. St. Petersburg police, who are investigating the incident as a hate crime, said someone spray painted a swastika in black along with the message, “Jews are guilty.”  Officers say they spotted the graffiti along the 1st Avenue South side of the museum around 4 a.m. while patrolling the area, WFLA reported. LEESBURG, Fla. [AP] – At least one person is dead after a four-person firefighting helicopter crash in central Florida, officials said. The helicopter crashed into a marsh near Leesburg International Airport during a training exercise around 4 p.m. Tuesday, the Federal Aviation Administration said in a news release. Florida DEO to withdraw from federal unemployment program, ending $300 weekly payments

The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) will be withdrawing from the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation program, ending the $300 weekly supplemental unemployment payments for claimants. The withdrawal is effective June 26, 2021. Fruits & veggies voucher increase expands nutritional access for WIC families

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – State WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Agencies were authorized by the American Rescue Plan Act to enhance the WIC benefit, expanding the fruits and vegetables voucher for a period of four months.
