COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A fire destroyed a home in Golden Gate Estates and the family needs the community’s help to recover. The family lost everything when the raging flames engulfed their home on 6th Avenue Southeast around 11 p.m. on Friday. Two people were inside the house and got out safe, but a dog named ‘Blue’ did not make it out. The family needs donations since nothing was salvageable from the rubble.
