Rescue crews respond to Fort Myers school bus crash

FORT MYERS, Fla. — At least one person was injured in a crash involving a school bus on Edison Avenue near Veronica S Shoemaker Avenue Friday morning, officials said. Rescue crews and officers with the Fort Myers Police Department responded to the scene just before 9:30 a.m. At least one person was taken into an ambulance on a stretcher. Cape Coral pulling the plug on trash drop-off sites

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — After months of delays and frustrated residents, Waste Pro operations in Cape Coral are finally getting back on schedule. City officials have decided to shutdown the drop-off sites that were created to help take a load off of Waste Pro, who was understaffed.
