FORT MYERS, Fla. – A man was taken into custody after leading Fort Myers police on a chase through a canal off of Marion Street near Shady Oaks Park on Friday. The Fort Myers Police Department said the man robbed several homes Friday morning off of Palm Beach Boulevard. Lee County deputies helped officers catch the suspect using drones in the area. LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A Miami man was found guilty of vehicular homicide on Thursday, according to the State Attorney’s Office. On June 27, 2018, 33-year-old Yosbel Regalado Fernandez ran a red light and slammed into another car. CLEWISTON, Fla.– A good Samaritan makes a disturbing discovery in Clewiston after finding five dogs abandoned near a canal on Wednesday morning. CAPE CORAL, Fla. – A scammer claiming to represent “Atlantic Key Energy” has been going up to homeowners in Cape Coral. The Cape Coral Police Department said the scammer is targeting people in-person rather than over the phone. They have said to homeowners that Lee County Electric Cooperative will replace their power meter and install solar panels on their house within a month.
