Companies like Krispy Kreme and brands like Samuel Adams have offered their products for free or at a discount, so Dr. Barton Hershfield decided he would try the same thing. “We wanted to help get things back to normal safely,” said Hershfield. Sherwin-Williams announced Tuesday that “demand remains strong” for its paint and other products, forcing the retailer to hike prices 7 percent beginning in August.
