CAPE CORAL, Fla. – A Cape Coral homeowner said a man was caught on camera spraying his Ring surveillance camera with spray paint twice. The home is located near Pelican Boulevard and SW 44th Street. Plane crashes near Alligator Alley in Collier County

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A plane went down near Interstate 75 in Collier County, officials said. Two people were on board the single-engine plane that crashed two miles south of I-75 near mile marker 55, according to Greater Naples Fire Rescue officials. WATCH LIVE: Rescue crews with the Greater Naples Fire Rescue, Collier County Sheriff’s Office and Collier County EMS responded to the crash. Kings Highway construction could cause delays in Charlotte County through June 23

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — Motorists in Charlotte County might notice some delays until June 23. Construction is happening in the southbound Kings Highway from Midway Boulevard to Olean Boulevard every day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Warning signs for the construction will be posted, so plan ahead if you’re traveling through the area. The work being done will improve manholes in linear ponds. The road closure is necessary and will give the contractor safe access to the area. IMMOKALEE, Fla. — The Immokalee Fire Control District is in the process of building a new facility. The new building will be on Useppa Drive in Ave Maria. It will house the fire rescue department as well as administrative employees. Rescue crews with Collier County EMS and the Collier County Sheriff’s Office will be able to share the space. The NBC2 First Alert Hurricane Tracking Team is monitoring the far southwestern Caribbean for possible tropical development this week. Several websites and apps around the world went down on Tuesday after Fastly, a major content delivery network, reported a widespread failure. Fastly supports news sites and apps like CNN, the Guardian, the New York Times, and many others. Fastly, a cloud service provider, also provides content delivery for Twitch, Pinterest, HBO Max, Hulu, Reddit, Spotify and other services, reported CNN. COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — The Naples Beach Hotel looks different with no trespassing signs and caution tape surrounding the hotel. The hotel is closed and development is paused due to a new lawsuit, which could delay improvements for even longer. Gregory Myers filed the suit at the end of May.
