PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – The Punta Gorda Police Department is searching for a suspect or suspects involved in two home burglaries in the Burnt Store Isles area. Police said they believe the white 2005 Chevrolet pickup truck pictured is involved in the burglaries. Investigators are asking residents to keep an eye out for the pickup truck that has a license plate reading 644QQD. 2 dead, 22 injured in shooting at Florida club

 (CNN) — Police are looking for the assailants who opened fire at a Florida club, killing at least two people and wounding at least 20 more, Miami-Dade police director Alfredo Ramirez III said. A white Nissan Pathfinder pulled up to a billiards club in Hialeah between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. Sunday, Ramirez said. San Carlos Park crews respond to mulch fire at MW Horticulture

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A mulch fire sparked at MW Horticulture on Thomas Road in Fort Myers on Saturday. San Carlos Park Fire confirms it’s about 50 percent contained and no structure are in danger. 7 children, 4 adults rushed to the hospital after Fort Myers crash

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Seven children and four adults were injured in a crash on US 41 near Island Park Road in Fort Myers. The South Trail Fire Department confirmed everyone injured in the crash is being taken to local hospitals. Four of the children do have serious injuries, two have non-life-threatening injuries, and one has minor injuries. 33 neglected cattle seized by agricultural deputies in Florida

A local rancher in rural Sarasota County told deputies with the agricultural unit about possible animal neglect happening at the intersection of Lorraine and Fruitville Roads. Charlotte County boy burned by scalding hot water flown to hospital

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – An 18-month-old boy was flown to a Tampa hospital after being burned by scalding hot water in Charlotte County. The incident happened around 11:40 a.m. Thursday at a Rotonda West home on Broadmore Lane, according to Charlotte County Fire and EMS. The child had second-degree burns on his right shoulder and back. The child was in stable condition and flown to Tampa General Hospital. Blue-green algae toxins found in West Palm Beach drinking water

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Blue-green algae toxins were detected in the drinking water from the City of West Palm Beach’s Water Treatment Plant. City officials said they issued a driving water advisory after they found Cylindrospermopsin, a toxin produced by cyanobacteria which is also known as blue-green algae. Teen involved in crash that killed Fort Myers HS alum has license suspended

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – A Tallahassee teen involved in a Halloween crash that killed a Fort Myers High School alum will have his license suspended for two years. Ian Eyler, the teen involved in the crash, will also have to go through a driver improvement class and complete 120 hours of community service, according to court documents.
